How do issues such as authorship, copyright and open access impact your desire, ability and willingness to engage in produsage, both personally and professionally?

I don’t think copyright issues have affected my participation in produsage. Mostly because I think people who participate in produsage have an understanding that the goal of produsage is to essentially “copyright” other individuals ideas, tweak and edit them to make them your own and be the consumer and producer . As a community, produsage as I have come to learn is about collaboration and sharing of information and knowledge. When creating my prototype for our first prod.assignment, I was not concerned with authorship or copyright issues mainly because I wasn’t designing it to be exactly replicated. I was designing it to be utilized and edited by my peers. I understand the importance of giving credit where credit it due, but when learning and collaborating among peers copyright issues have not decreased my willingness to engage in prodisage.
Although, I haven’t been as active as I was last week, I am diligently working on our community paper, and I will leave feedback for the first produsage assignment asap :)
